Rank and emotes? - Guild Wars Forums

What is all this I hear about tiger or deer emotes or whatever that are connected with rank somehow? Do you growl like a tiger or prance like a deer? whats going on? e.e

The only thing I saw with a dear in it is some person in marhans must have pressed a button cause a big 3d deer head appeared infront of them.

I think some of them come from the collectors edition.
Not really sure and curious myself. I saw the same thing you saw and also at Marhan's

Depending on your rank, you are able to "summon" an animal spirit by typing the emote /rank. The animal changes as your rank increases. If you want more information, search the forums since this has already been discussed.

Emote and ranks are connected, u gain rank by getting fame

These are the emotes for rank

1. no emote
2 -||-
3 deer
4 deer
5 deer
6 wolf
7 wolf
8 wolf
9 tiger
10 tiger
11 tiger
12 dragon
...

So ranks are like titles in FPS games such as in perfect dark as you get so many medals you get new ranks? I always figured it was like D2 ladder and the people with the highest fame got the ranks but then again i never knew about this untill very recently

Let us just say, the more u have played tombs the higher rank ^^
The more fame u gett the higher rank u gett.
U need More fame for every rank 1=25 fame, 2=75 fa, 3=180

as u see the fame req getts higher and higer for every rank....

i never see anyone higher than rank 5. how much fame do u have to get to get ranks like 6,7,8 etc.?

25, 75, 180, 360, 600, 1000, 1680, 2800, 4665, 7750.

You get a deer at rank 3, a wolf at rank 6, and a tiger at rank 9.

No one has hit rank 10 yet.
